Samantha Howard

A bit about me...

My name is Samantha Howard and I am the owner and managing broker for KA Realty LLC. I got my real estate license in November of 2010, and after a little break for the holidays, I officially began selling homes in January of 2011.

I was born and raised in the Alamogordo area however, because both of my parents worked out at White Sands Missile Range, I attended elementary and most of middle school out there. This gave me just a little insight into what kids of Military Families have to go through. After graduating High-School out of Alamogordo, I attended Texas Tech University, receiving my Bachelors degree in Agricultural Economics. I then went on to receive my Masters in Business from New Mexico State University.

My fire for real estate truly developed when my husband and I began investing in long term rentals. What initially was in the interest of self-education quickly turned into a passion for a new career. I began learning everything I possibly could about selling homes and assisting buyers, additionally working closely with foreclosure asset management companies. In my first year of selling I was named "Rookie of the Year". I am also very active in our local Real Estate Association where I have served in the capacities of: Board Director, Secretary/Treasurer, President-Elect, President and Committee Chair, for almost every committee the association has! I am also currently serving on the New Mexico Association of Realtors Board of Directors. I feel very strongly that the more you get involved, the more your real estate industry knowledge will evolve.  It is also incredibly useful for great networking.

After a few years of working for someone else, I decided to venture out on my own at the end of 2015 to open KA Realty LLC.  Over the last several years KA Realty has continued to thrive and grow. At the current time we have 6 full-time Realtors that work to assist buyers and sellers in both Otero and Lincoln counties. We may be a small office, but we focus on building lasting relationships with our clients as our absolute number one priority.
